Problem/Need: Existing sanitary ware was dated. The shower base showed little signs of support under load.
Solution: The shower room was stripped and the floor was reinforced with plywood. All new fittings were installed. The layout of the shower room was improved by repositioning the radiator so the shower door could be opened fully. A corner toilet made best use of the limited floor area.
Customer testimonial: "We are really pleased with our new posh shower room. Reliable, good quality workmanship."
Problem/Need: The ceiling was unsightly due to the uneven floor joists.
Solution: The ceiling was cross battened and packed to even out the difference between the floor joists. The ceiling inside the ellipse feature was not battened forming a recess. Elliptical plaster moulding was then formed progressively using a metal former. When illuminated the inside wall of the plaster moulding reflects the light onto the ceiling producing a domed effect.
